New faculty position at Rutgers University
Chloe is thrilled to join the Department of Cell Biology and Neuroscience at Rutgers University as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in January 2026! Her lab will study how to protect our brain from the abnormal protein aggregation (like tau!) and related pathology in hopes of finding creative and effective ways to combat neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s disease.

Talk at ISMND
Chloe presented her BrightFocus-funded research at the Biennial Meeting of ISMND (International Society for Molecular Neurodegeneration). It was such a pleasure and honor to share her work with a wonderful community of neuroscientists, especially back in South Korea where Chloe was born and raised!
